Each member who has paid the annual membership as established by the Board shall be a member in good standing. VFPPS reserves the right to refuse/cancel a membership in the VFPPS according to the VFPPS Constitution and Bylaws.
As a minimum, the Federation requires that its members meet the minimum standards of honesty, ethics and professional conduct which apply in the Members’ home community and to not be prejudicial to the federation. Before termination of membership for failing to meet the minimum standard of professional conduct, a member will be given due notice and a hearing in accordance with procedures set forth in the VFPPS’s Policies and Procedures. The only other grounds for termination of membership are the non-payment of dues when they become in arrears or resignation by the Member. In these circumstances, Members are not eligible to receive a full or partial refund.
